Lead Abatement Work Initial Course

Description

This course is designed to educate students how to perform lead abatement. Topics include: roles and responsibilities of a lead worker, lead hazard reduction methods, lead hazard reduction options, and extensive hands-on training. Six out of the 8 hours is spent on hands-on activities. (Lead Safe Renovator is a prerequisite).
Class time 8:00am-5:00pm
Lead Safe Renovator course is a prerequisite. This course is required if you want to work on Wisconsin’s new $14 million lead grant, or you need to do work “ordered” by the Health Department.
